This community-based organization was formed to help the Tantramar region to become energy sustainable. Its vision is that the Tantramar region consume no more electrical energy than what can be produced from economically viable renewable sources. Work includes research and education into the potential of producing electricity from wind energy, and promotion of renewable energy sources for domestic, institutional and industrial use. EOS has supported its members' efforts through education, energy conservation and energy efficiency programs.
